What it does

This design is designed to provide a portable and efficient solar charging solution. The foldable solar universal charging panel is capable of charging a variety of devices such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and more through high-efficiency solar panels.


Your inspiration

Inspired by the need for portable charging devices in outdoor activities and travel. Many people often face the problem of low power in electronic devices during outdoor activities, while traditional portable power sources need to be charged regularly and are inconvenient to use. Foldable solar charging panels are designed to provide continuous clean energy through the use of solar energy, helping users easily charge anywhere. In addition, with the increasing environmental awareness, people want to reduce their dependence on traditional electricity by using renewable energy, which further inspired me to design this product.


How it works

The foldable solar universal charging panel fulfills its function through a variety of advanced technologies. First, the device uses high-efficiency monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicon solar panels that efficiently convert solar energy into electricity. The efficiency of solar panels is usually above 20%, ensuring a stable power output in a wide range of lighting conditions. The device has a built-in intelligent charging controller, which can monitor the output voltage and current of the battery board in real time to ensure a stable charging current for the connected devices. The charge controller also has overcharge, overdischarge, overheat and short-circuit protection functions to ensure the safety of the charging process. The foldable design is a highlight of this device. The solar charging panels are connected by hinges and durable cloth and can be folded like a book, making it easy to carry and store.


Design process

The design process starts with a conceptual design, first determining the basic functions and target users of the foldable solar universal charging panel, and conducting market research to understand the user's needs. Then, technical research and selection are carried out to determine the appropriate solar panels, intelligent charging controllers and output interfaces, and design the system architecture. On this basis, the production of preliminary prototypes, including the development of hardware circuits and software programs, begins. Once the prototype is made, multiple rounds of testing are conducted to continuously improve the hardware and software design and optimize product performance by gathering user feedback. During the test, the solar conversion efficiency, charging speed and portability of the device were emphasized. Finally, integration testing and certification are carried out to ensure that the product meets the relevant safety and quality standards.
