What it does
The prospect tower gives children in refugee camps a view outside the walls of the camp. Other cultures, other biomes, other prospects for the future.
Your inspiration
A lot of children need to stay in refugee camps for a long time and don't get to see the world beyond the walls of the camp. When you grow up not seeing the wonders the world has to offer you might have a negative view of the future. We wanted to change that.
How it works
By giving discarded EV batteries new life we power small screens that are integrated into the binoculars.
Design process
We originaly wanted to find a way to give discarded EV batteries a new purpose. During the search for a good purpose we stumbled upon some products and services that were implemented in refugee camps. This made us ask ourselves how we might be able to provide help there with our batteries.
How it is different
Keeping the EV batteries from being shredded while they still have capacity and providing value for others while doing that.
Future plans
We don't have any plans yet.
