Was es macht

The Ezcare Trolley was created to reduce physical strain for medical professionals by minimizing bending in lifting or placing equipment.

Deine Inspiration

The inspiration came from having surveys with people who work in the hospital, most claimed that they have back issues as it came from bending down when retrieving or placing of items on the trolley. It actually came from one of the table in the market which its mechanism is very similar and we integrated it as a trolley

So funktioniert es

Remove key from the trolley platform and the platform can be lifted up afterwards locked the platform with the key

Designprozess

Our first prototype was a low quality one made with styrofoam and cupboard, it was used to test for the mechanism, then afterwards we created a high quality one using steel and 3d printed materials, we added a board under each platform as the platform was flimsy, we added a locking mechanism for safety purposes incase it drops due to imbalance of load on the platform.

Warum es anders ist

Other products do not have the function to lift the platform up in a same level at the same time retract it back down

Pläne für die Zukunft

We are planning to replace the 3d printed parts with steel for stronger support and implement gas spring on to it so that the platform does not have a sudden drop when retracting it. We are planning to implement a locking button mechanism when lifting the platform so the users would not need to move to both side to unlock the key
