What it does

Managing home repairs and maintenance can be frustrating, time-consuming, and unreliable. That’s why I created ServiSmart, an on-demand platform that connects homeowners with certified, experienced professionals for a wide range of home services.


Your inspiration

Currently in Mexico, there is an increasing demand for home services. Nevertheless, these services only can be acquired by voice in voice recommedantions or making a reasearch in streets. That's what inspired me to create an application where you can find all of them, the plot twist is not be another repository of information, we want to connect with the customer and assign the perfect professional that fit their needs.


How it works

The platform will have two perspectives: clients and professionals. Clients will be able to create a profile easily, only providing the relevant information needed to request home services (painting, carpentry, cleaning, pet walking, childcare, plumbing, etc.). The application will search for the desired service among the list of professionals and their locations. This ensures that the professional is within the area and can provide a fast and secure service. On the other hand, professionals will be able to register on the application to offer home services. Detailed information will be required to ensure the safety of those requesting the service, as our vision is to provide secure and professional services right at your doorstep.


Design process

So far, only a prototype of the website has been built. The focus has been on the business model, potential improvements, and gathering information to consider as many scenarios as possible.


How it is different

Our competitive advantega is the secutiry that we provide to the client with our hiring process for professionals, as well as the registration process and the service request. Some apps gather too much information and as customer is hectic to complete all of that.


Future plans

The future plans include developing the application to begin the development phase and later conducting a pilot test in a specific area to assess the app's demand. This will help gather user data and start implementing improvements. Additionally, efforts will be made to reach out to professionals and analyze the demand for each service.
