Your inspiration

In modern life, the comfort of temperature has a direct impact on the quality of sleep. Many people have trouble sleeping in the summer because of the heat, and in the winter because of the cold. Traditional mattresses can not provide temperature adjustment function, can not meet the needs of users for temperature control. In order to improve the sleep experience, I decided to design a cooling and heating air conditioning mattress to provide users with a balanced and comfortable sleep environment throughout the year through innovative temperature control technology. The idea stems from my focus on improving quality of life and healthy sleep.

How it works

Inside the mattress is a Thermoelectric Cooling and Heating technology and a water circulation system, which achieves rapid heating and cooling through the electrothermal effect of semiconductor materials. The mattress is equipped with a number of water circulation channels, through which warm and cold water circulation, to achieve uniform temperature regulation. The temperature control system monitors the temperature of the mattress surface and the user's contact area in real time through the built-in temperature sensor to ensure accurate temperature regulation. The user can set the target temperature and mode (heating or cooling) of the mattress via a touch screen or mobile app. The application also supports personalized functions such as timing switch and automatic temperature adjustment at night to improve the convenience of use.

Design process

The main material of the air conditioning mattress is high-density memory foam, which provides good support and comfort. Memory foam has breathable and antibacterial properties, ensuring long-term hygiene and comfort. The mattress surface is covered with soft, breathable high-quality fabric to enhance the sleep experience. The core temperature control function is achieved through the built-in micro-heating and cooling modules. The heating module uses carbon fiber heating wire to provide uniform and fast heating effect, ensuring warm and comfortable winter use. The cooling module uses semiconductor cooling technology to rapidly reduce the surface temperature of the mattress, providing a cool experience during summer use. The temperature sensor monitors the surface temperature of the mattress in real time, and the intelligent control system automatically adjusts the working state of the heating and cooling modules to keep the mattress within the set temperature range. Intelligent monitoring is enabled by a variety of built-in sensors, including pressure sensors, heart rate sensors and respiration sensors. The sensor monitors the user's sleeping posture, heart rate and breathing in real time, and the data is transmitted to a dedicated app on the smartphone via a Bluetooth module.

The advanced heat pump technology and temperature control system of the air conditioning mattress achieve personalized and accurate temperature regulation. The mattress is not only rapidly heated and cooled by heat pump technology, but also provides continuous and stable temperature support through sensing systems and control algorithms. Its high-quality memory foam and breathable material ensure a comfortable user experience and body support, making it stand out from its peers.

Future plans

The accuracy and response speed of the temperature sensor and control system of the air conditioning mattress. Ambient temperature monitoring and automatic temperature adjustment, according to the user's sleep state and ambient temperature automatically adjust the mattress temperature. Heating and cooling mattresses can become an essential household item for every family, improving their sleep quality and quality of life.
