My inspiration for CPR Circle came from the critical need to improve CPR training accessibility and effectiveness. We noticed that traditional CPR manikins are often expensive, bulky, and inconvenient, limiting their use in widespread, everyday training scenarios. Realizing the importance of having more people trained in CPR to increase survival rates during cardiac emergencies, we aimed to create a portable, cost-effective, and engaging solution. The idea stemmed from the desire to democratize CPR training, making it accessible to anyone, anywhere, and ultimately saving more lives.

CPR Circle training device designed for ease of use and accessibility. It features a lightweight, portable compression unit simulating a human chest, with infrared sensor that detect the depth and frequency of chest compressions. The advanced LED feedback system provides real-time guidance: green LEDs light up for proper depth and rate, while red LEDs indicate incorrect technique. The LEDs are positioned on the both side of the compression area, making it easy for users to see the quality of their chest compressions in real-time. The device includes a mobile app that records performance data, allowing users to track their progress over time. Users can save or share their scores and data in various file formats, and educational institutions can issue certificates based on performance metrics. CPR Circle ensures effective and accessible CPR training, with the detailed LED feedback system enhancing learning by providing clear, immediate guidance.

I conducted extensive interviews with cardiologists and healthcare personnel working in emergency departments to identify critical gaps in current CPR training methodologies. This research highlighted the limitations of traditional mannequin-based training, including high costs, difficulty in transportation and storage, and limited hands-on experience for participants. Following the needs assessment, I developed the design and technical details of the project. This phase included creating a visual mat with instructional graphics and a compressible module that provides real-time feedback on chest compressions. Additionally, I integrated a mobile application to enhance the training experience, offering features such as progress tracking, and interactive quizzes. To validate my design, I initiated pilot studies in various hospitals and training centers across Turkey. These studies aimed to test the CPR Circle product with different age groups, ensuring its effectiveness and adaptability for diverse user demographics. Feedback from these pilot studies has been instrumental in refining the design and functionality of the product. I conducted iterative testing to improve the user experience and the accuracy of the real-time feedback provided by the compressible module.

In the realm of emergency response, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training is an essential skill that can make the difference between life and death. Traditional CPR training methods rely heavily on the use of mannequins, which present several challenges. These mannequins are not only expensive but also cumbersome to transport and store. Additionally, during group training sessions, the availability of mannequins is often limited, preventing many participants from gaining hands-on experience. This gap in practical training can significantly diminish the effectiveness of CPR education and, consequently, the readiness of individuals to perform CPR in real-life emergencies. CPR Circle's smart and portable design with integrated application offers innovative solutions to these problems about traditional CPR training.

Global Reach: We aim to make CPR Circle' available globally by partnering with international healthcare organizations. This will ensure that our device reaches more people who can benefit from effective CPR training. Certification Programs: We plan to collaborate with institutions to develop standardized certification programs that can be completed using CPR Circle'. This will add credibility and value to the training.
